Award-Winning Comfort, Control, and Cutting Power
The OLFA XA-1 Auto-Lock Precision Knife is designed for professionals who demand sharp performance, ergonomic comfort, and long-lasting durability. Featuring a fiberglass-reinforced handle and a wraparound, anti-slip grip, this 9mm utility knife offers a pen-like, ergonomic design for fatigue-free, detailed cutting.
The X-design handle allows users to apply force without slipping, while the glassfiber-reinforced polypropylene construction ensures excellent durability. The acetone-resistant body stands up to harsh environments, making it ideal for craft, retail, and industrial applications.
A stainless-steel blade channel keeps the blade steady for clean, accurate cuts. The auto-lock mechanism provides secure, one-touch blade positioning through preset detents. A built-in pocket clip doubles as a blade snapper for safe, convenient edge renewal.
Preloaded with an OLFA ABB Ultra-Sharp Black Snap-Off Blade, this knife delivers up to 25% more sharpness than standard silver blades. Each blade includes 13 snap segments for extended use. When a segment dulls, simply snap it off for a fresh edge. Full blade changes are tool-free for maximum efficiency.
The OLFA XA-1 has received the Good Design Award, Japan’s only comprehensive design evaluation and recommendation system. Sponsored by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, this award honors products with outstanding innovation and usability. Since 1957, the G Mark has symbolized excellence in design.
Fits all OLFA 9mm blades including AB Silver Snap Blades, A-SOL Silver Solid Blades, and AB-S Stainless-Steel Snap Blades.
