I’m a modern quilter with a passion for bright colours, bold designs, happy stripes and fresh florals. I have an obsession with the most intricate paper piecing while simultaneously ignoring all the quilting rules that don’t suit my style. I live by the motto if it makes your heart sing, you are on the right path.
Most known for my time on Project Runway season 6, I'm a designer specializing in fashion and wearable accessories. In addition, I create one-of-a-kind collectible plush critters using unconventional materials like leather, vinyl and cork. When I'm not sewing I can be found chilling outdoors with my husband, kiddos and whatever various woodland creatures we have in our yard at that time.
I'm a crafter, designer, and cosplayer. I love to make amazing costumes to show my love for my many fandoms, then go show it off at a convention or in a competition. Gimme some Star Wars concept art, fabric, and glue then I will create film magic right before your eyes!
I am a self taught quilter and love bringing my whimsical designs to life using fabric and thread. I am also part of the Marcus Fabrics design team.

Mixed Media Designer
I am an architect by training and an artisan by heart! I like to make all sorts of things, and I’m passionate about calligraphy, everything paper, felt, handmade creations & interior design. What moves me is making content and projects that motivate myself along with the people around me to live a mindful, colourful & creative life :-)
I love to upcycle because it's a constant challenge to repurpose and come up with design ideas. Leather is my favourite material to work with since it's so durable and has usually had a long life before I get it, and then I get to give it a whole new purpose. To take something that you're not using, and turn it into something beautiful, and useful, is empowering.
I enjoy so many different crafts. Everything from gardening to home renovation. I love all things fabric and thread: quilting, embroidery, bag making, wool work and hand stitching. The fine details and crisp corners make me happy. I write patterns to encourage people to use and expand their skill set. My goal is to build your crafty confidence! There’s love infused into everything I make:)
I call myself the Mad Color Scientist. I think that is because I like to experiment with colors, designs, and various combinations of both. I am never really sure how things will come out, but I love playing with those elements. My medium is mostly fabric and fiber - occasionally paper, paint, and wood as well. Quilting is my Main Gig.
