I’m a modern quilter with a passion for bright colours, bold designs, happy stripes and fresh florals. I have an obsession with the most intricate paper piecing while simultaneously ignoring all the quilting rules that don’t suit my style. I live by the motto if it makes your heart sing, you are on the right path.

Daisi Toegel is a Quilter and Pattern Designer of quilts and bags. Her work is a mix of traditional and modern style. She loves working with scrap fabrics, and in her leisure time she enjoys hand stitching, her favorite technique is English paper piecing.

I am an architect by training and an artisan by heart! I like to make all sorts of things, and I’m passionate about calligraphy, everything paper, felt, handmade creations & interior design. What moves me is making content and projects that motivate myself along with the people around me to live a mindful, colourful & creative life :-)

I am a designer, content creator and DIY Lover. I’ve been sewing since I was a kid (too early to remember). I learned basic sewing skills from mom and picked up a few tips and tricks on my own over the years. I love the whole creative process of sewing, from designing, choosing the fabric, construction and the styling! I'm moved by the fabrics, it inspires me to create beautiful garments! Creating and styling garments has been an outlet for me to express my creativity and style . I hope to help and inspire others who want to create and design also.

I am a modern quilter, fibre artist and pattern designer inspired by the great outdoors. With the help of my mom, I made my first quilt at age four. Since then, I’ve been creating and making things with my hands practically non-stop! I’ve tried many different crafts and mediums over the years, but I kept coming back to quilts. In 2017, I launched The Blanket Statement Quilt Co as a platform for modern, geometric quilt & bag patterns (and so much more!). At that time, being a relative outsider to the quilting industry, I understood first-hand how overwhelming and intimidating quilting can seem - so I made it my mission to design patterns that are not only modern, unique and eye-catching, but also accessible for quilters of all skill levels!
