OLFA RM-SG-01 18" x 24" Green Double-Sided, Self-Healing Rotary Mat

OLFA RTY-2C/YEL 45MM Rotary Cutter

OLFA QR-6x24 6”x24” Frosted Acrylic Ruler

Cutting instructions:

From fabrics cA through cG cut (1) 9 ½” square from each (7).

From fabric cH, cut (4) 2” x WOF, join all strips together to form one long strip. Sub cut (2) 2” x 9 ½” and (2) 2” x 63 ½” strips.

From fabrics cI and cJ cut (2) 9 ½” x 30 ¾” strips for the wide borders.

From fabric cK, after basting the backing fabric, there will be a large piece of scrap, cut (3) 2 ½” x 72”
strips and join them together on the 45-degree angle, press lengthwise with right sides out to make the binding strips. Set it aside.

Sew the patchwork:

Following the chart below, sew the vertical rows.

(#1) Border rows, add one of each fabric cI and cJ to each side with a 9 ½” x 2” strip of fabric cH I between. Make 2 for both sides of the borders.

(#2) Sew the center strip of squares, organize the prints as you prefer.

(#3) Sew the sashing strips to join the rows.

Press all seams open.

The quilt top should measure 30 ½” x 63 ½”. Some fabric stretching may happen, or inaccuracy of seam allowance may slightly modify the exact measurement. ***If preferred, use a scant seam allowance to sew the patchwork.

Press the patchwork top well before basting.

Baste, quilt and bind using the methods of your preference.

The table topper is done!
