Beanie Hats or toboggans are great for keeping the head warm on cold days. Here is a quick and easy pattern to create your own.

Tool & Supplies needed:

FREE Beanie Pattern

½ yard Stretch Sweater knit fabric

OLFA RM-MG-01 24" x 36" Green Double-Sided, Self-Healing Rotary Mat

OLFA 45mm RTY-2/C Quick-Change Rotary Cutter

OLFA 28mm RTY-1/C Quick-Change Rotary Cutter

Cutting & Prep

1. First, print and cut out your FREE pattern.

2. Cut all the pieces out for the pattern using your OLFA cutting tools.

Sewing Instructions

3. Pin the darts on the main pieces of the hat.

4. Stitch.
5. Repeat the last two steps for the lining pieces.

6. With right sides together pin two main pieces together matching raw edges.
7. Stitch around the sides of the hat.

8. Repeat last two steps for the lining, only leave about a 3 inch opening for turning.

9. With right sides together insert your lining into your main hat.

10. Line up the hem edges. Pin.

11. Stitch.

12. Turn the beanie right side out through the 3” opening.
13. Close the opening by hand stitching.

Voila Your Done!
