Description: Using Nylon fabric to create a garden flag
Materials:
- 1/4 yard White Nylon Fabric
- 1/8 yard Blue Nylon Fabric
- 1/8 yard Red Nylon Fabric
- Thread
- Garden Flag Stand

(0:14) Changing Blade
- Replace Ergo blade with Pinking Blade
- Make sure to move the plastic washer between the blade and the handle
(0:29) Cutting Instructions
- Cut 4.5” squares in the following amounts
- (12) White
- (8) Blue
- (4) Red
- Also cut the following from white
- (8) 3.75” Squares
- (5) 4”x13”
(0:42) Make Half Square Triangles
- Draw a diagonal line from corner to corner on 24 white squares
- Layer each blue and red square with one of these white squares
- Sew 1/2” on either side of diagonal line
(1:06) Trim Squares
- Cut each unit along diagonal line
- Trim units to 3.75” square
(1:16) Sew blocks
- Lay out units in desired pattern and stitch together
(1:31)Assemble Units
- Attach 4”x13” strip to top and bottom of each block
- Make 2 hanging tabs
- With right sides facing stitch together leaving a hole to turn
- Top stitch to finish
