- 2 Yards Cotton Flannel for Top
- 2 Yards Cotton Flannel for Backing
- 2 Yards Quilt Batting/ Flannel or Fleece for Middle
- Cotton Thread

- OLFA RM-CG 12”x18” Green Self-Healing Rotary Mat
- OLFA 60mm RTY-3/G Straight Handle Rotary Cutter
- OLFA QR-6S 6 1/2” Square Frosted Acrylic Ruler
- OLFA QR-6x12 6" X 12" Frosted Acrylic Ruler
- OLFA 5-Inch SCS-4 Precision Appliqué Scissors
- Clips/Pins
- Sewing Machine
- Non-permanent Fabric Marker

Key Moments:
(4:11) Materials
- 2 yards of flannel for top (I’m using 3 different fabrics)
- 2 yards of flannel for back
- 2 yards of your middle layer
(5:11) Required Tools
- 6 1/2” Square OLFA ruler
- 6”x12” OLFA ruler
- 12”x18” OLFA Rotary Mat
- 60mm OLFA Rotary Cutter
- Non-permanent Fabric Marker
(6:09) Cutting Directions
- Cut 64 6.5” squares from top, back and middle layers of fabric
(8:15) Making Blocks
- Layer backing, middle and top pieces
- Sew 2 diagonal lines across each unit
(10:52) Sew Units into Rows
- Place 2 units with backs together
- Sew with a 1/2” seam allowance
- Sew units into rows
(11:40) Clipping Seam Allowances
- Evenly make cuts into seam allowance
(13:14) Sew Rows Together
- Place rows together with backs facing
- Sew with 1/2” seam allowance
(14:26) Finishing Quilt
- Sew around entire quilt 1/2” from edge
- Sew a second line an 1/8” from this
- Finish snipping all seam allowances
- Wash and dry to fluff
