Making purchasing decisions is not an easy process – in some professional tool categories, there are literally hundreds of options, which can leave pros scratching their heads and wondering how on earth they can narrow it down to just the very best.
In some cases, however, it’s an easy decision to make: Choose the tool that thousands of other professionals have nominated as their top pick.
OLFA is proud to announce its selection as a 2018 winner in Canadian Occupational Safety magazine’s Readers’ Choice Awards in the Best Cutting Safety Tools category.
Approximately 1,200 professionals and tradesmen cast almost 35,000 votes in this year’s competition, making this award an important third-party validation of OLFA’s commitment to making cutting tools that keep professionals safe while helping them be more productive.
For decades, OLFA’s cutting tools have set the worldwide standard for safe, effective knives. Since the company was founded in 1956, we’ve hung our hats on exceeding expectations and promoting safety in all professional applications, including on construction sites and jobsites and in industrial operations.
In fact, our founder, Yoshio Okada, specifically chose the signature yellow color of OLFA cutters and utility knives in 1967 to promote visual safety in the toolbox. Ergonomically designed, each cutter and knife has a comfortable grip and securely keeps the blade steady in a stainless steel channel for safety and maximum cutting force.
Canadian Occupational Safety is Canada’s leading safety publication, with a combined print and digital circulation of more 23,400 professionals, and we’re honored that health and safety professionals across Canada believe in our dedication to making cutting tools safer. This year marks the third anniversary of the Readers’ Choice Awards, and the third time OLFA has garnered , taking home the trophy every year.
Winners were announced in the August/September issue of the magazine, so keep an eye out for the rest of the companies your fellow professionals have chosen as the best of the best in 54 categories.
