Each of our brands was born of ingenuity. It started with Pyrex: Bessie Littleton, wife of a Corning scientist, asked her husband to bring home some glass to use in place of a broken baking dish. He gave her the sawed-off bottoms of some battery jars. A cake was baked, a team of women home-economists were hired to define a line that would best meet women’s baking needs, and an innovative new brand was born. It’s a model we’ve followed ever since—using technology to create products that make life better everyday.
Moving forward, Corelle Brands will continue to find passion and inspiration anywhere our consumers prepare and share food, and we’ll constantly look for new ways we can improve the way people prep, cook, dine, entertain and store food.
