For more than 50 years, OLFA’s mission has been to produce and deliver the world’s best cutting solutions. We wish to inspire creativity in a universally accessible and useful manner. And when we say we want to put the best cutting solutions in the hands of everyone, we mean everyone.
We’re proud to lead our industry by example. To broaden, refresh and further OLFA’s offerings in relation to diversity and inclusion, we have established a ‘Build Diversity’ program which strives to support a more diverse group of makers and professionals within the community. For years, OLFA knives have helped create and build projects of all types, and now we want to build expanded diversity to embrace and celebrate all people, regardless of age, culture, ethnicity, gender identity, language, physical ability, race, religion, sexual orientation, size, or socioeconomic status.
And to broaden our outreach and support historically underrepresented identities, on an annual basis we wish to gift OLFA cutting solutions at no charge to select individuals, organizations, classrooms and/or apprenticeship/training programs that demonstrate focus toward the inclusion of those from diverse backgrounds supporting creative and/or professional skill development.
By embracing diversity and inclusion, we’re designing a more vibrant, dynamic community of makers and professionals. Because when people feel included, they feel inspired and empowered, which leads to creativity. Together, we are a diverse community that celebrates our uniqueness and promotes creativity and passion for our work.
