BBQ Tool Roll Up

Just in time for the summer BBQ season, this handy roll keeps your tools in order. Easy to make and it uses only one yard of fabric! Great gift for the man in your life.

Tools Needed:
Materials Needed:
- 1 yard of heavy weight canvas
- 22"x32" rectangle of batting
- 3 yards of woven banding for straps
- Chalk marking pencil

- Cut 2 rectangles 22"x32" from canvas. Cut one 22"x32" of batting.
- Stitch batting to wrong side of one canvas rectangle.
- Stitch front to back, right sides together, leaving an opening for turning. Trim corners and turn inside out. Press well.
- Measure 3" down from one edge and mark a horizontal line across tool roll. Stitch decorative banding trim in place on this line. This will be on the inside top edge of pocket.
- For straps, cut 2 pieces, each 36" line. Measure and mark 6" down from both the top and bottom on back side of tool roll. Stitch banding straps in place horizontally across the back, stopping your stitching 6 inches from the right edge.
- For handle, cut 13" of banding and stitch in place between 2 rows of straps.
- Lay tool roll with inside up. Fold 11-1/2" pocket up from the bottom. The banding trim wll now be on the top edge of this pocket. Stitch top in place around entire toll roll.
- For pocket dividers, stitch from bottom to top of pocket, 7" in from each side.
- Insert tools in pockets, fold right edge over first, then left, and tie straps in place.
