Tools Needed:

Materials Needed:
  • Light-Colored Fabric
  • Dark-Colored Fabric
  • Cotton Batting
  • Paper-Backed Adhesive
Instructions
  1. Cut: Two - 6" Squares from your light-colored fabric and Two - 6" Squares from your dark-colored fabric; Two - 5" circles (for backing and lining); One - 5" Circle of cotton batting; Two 5 1/2" Squares of Paper-Backed Adhesive.
  2. With wrong sides together, bond the two light squares together with the paper-backed adhesive. Repeat with the two dark squares.
  3. Find the middle of each square. Using the OLFA Circle Cutter, cut 5" circles from each light and dark square.
  4. Fold circle in half and finger press a crease line.
  5. Using the OLFA Rotary Cutter with the Scallop Blade, cut and divide the circle in half. Repeat for both circles.
  6. To box fold, lay two dark circles with scallop edges touching, lay the two light cirlces on top in opposite directions. Lifting one corner at a time, interlock.
  7. Sandwich batting between remaining two circles, wrong sides together.
  8. Carefully lay folded circle on battting sandwich and pin. Stich 3/8" from edge through all thickness. Trim seam, turn, press lightly.
